1. When did you start blogging? I have always had a journal of some sort, but I moved to an online journal a few years ago. I started taking it seriously over a year ago.
2. How often do you blog? How many times per week, per day? Everyday, several times a day.
3. How many blogs do you have? One that I post in every day and at least 5 others that I post in now and thn.
4. How many blogs do you visit daily? What type of blogs do you tend to visit? Do you always leave comments? I visit 20 or so blogs each day, some are meme, some are from friends and I don’t always leave comments.
5. What is it about blogging that you enjoy the most? What is it that you don’t like about blogging? I like meeting new people, learning new things, expressing opinions and sharing ideas. I hate getting spammed.
6. What do you usually blog about?I mostly do memes…I am totally addicted.

As I lay awake past midnight, I could hear the wind rustling the leaves outside. I suddenly heard a scraping sound at my window…maybe it is just the wind blowing the tree too hard. My mind begins to play tricks on me and I think I can see fingers in the shadows of the window. Oh no! Someone is out there and they are trying to get in. I need to get up and see what it is but I am too scared to move. I pull the blankets up over my head and hope that noise goes away.

I lay there for a few minutes and suddenly realize that I need to go to the bathroom.. Waiting always makes my back hurt so I know I have to get up soon. Finally I force myself out of bed and run to the bathroom, turning on all the lights in the house as I go. After I am finished I grab my flashlight and walk slowly back to my bedroom and over to the window. I shine the flashlight out the window and there on my window sill is a…………………………………cute kitty! She looks cold so I let her in.

1. What’s your favorite Halloween costume? Do you still dress up for Halloween? I have not dressed up for Halloween for many years. I think the last thing I dressed up as…was a cat…for work in 1997. My favorite costume was one that a friend of mine wore in high school. He dressed up at the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man (from the Ghostbusters movie).

2. Pumpkin Carving, is it fun or overrated? I think it is fun! I love all the cool designs people put on them.

3. What’s your fav Halloween treat? Chocolate of course.

4. Do you watch scary movies? If so, what are your favorites? I like to watch scary movies. It is fun to be scared by them now and then. I think my favorites are the “Child’s Play” series, “Nightmare on Elm Street” series, “Halloween” series and a few others.

5. What’s your favorite scary book? “The Exorcist” by William Peter Blatty; some of Stephen King’s books.

9/21 Let’s talk books this week.

1. Name a few of your favorite books. “Gone With The Wind”, “The Boxcar Children” and nearly everything by Stephen King, Danielle Steel, Dan Brown and Jeffrey Deaver.

2. Is there an author that you don’t like, yet so many people seem to love? None that I can think of right now.

3. Name a book to film adaptation that you really like. Name one you think was done poorly.
I really enjoyed watching “The Green Mile” on film. I think everyone involved did a wonderful job with it. I am sure that there are a few that I did not enjoy watching…but I cannot think of any.

4. Where do you buy your books? I buy them from the local bookstore, thrift stores, Wal Mart and online.

5. What genre do you read the most? I read horror, fiction, non-fiction and crime books.

6. What genre do you dislike? I get tired of Self-help books.

7. Is there a book that has changed your life? No, not really.

8. Have you ever met an author? What author would you like to meet? I have never met an author but I would like to meet Stephen King. I also would have enjoyed meeting Margaret Mitchell.

4. where’s your favorite place to watch tv? In my living room on my big comfy couch.

Yes, but not in a long time. I use to have things from The Smurfs, Dukes of Hazard, Dallas and a few other TV programs.

Well, this is it. The end of August. Summer flew by. This week post 5 fun things you did this summer.

I went to Wisconsin for a week and visited family because Grandma passed away so we attended her funeral. I visited the “House on the Rocks” while I was there and I got to see the beautiful country side.
