Appetizer: When was the last time you had your hair cut/trimmed? A few months ago I got my hair thinned and layered…and it needs it again!

Soup: Name one thing you miss about being a child. I miss not having to worry about money, bills, kids, cars, home, work and etc.

Salad: Pick one: butter, margarine, olive oil. Butter

Main Course: If you could learn another language, which one would you pick, and why? I would like to learn Spanish, because I would like to be able to talk to people in their native tongue.

Dessert: Finish this sentence: In 5 years I expect to be…living in Wisconsin, working full time and working on my Master’s Degree.

Appetizer: What is the weather like today where you live? I live in Missouri, USA and according to the National Weather Service, we have a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1pm. Then, mostly cloudy the rest of the day, with a high near 88.

Soup: On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how career-minded are you? I have around an 8. I like my job and my career but my family always comes first.

Salad: What type of window coverings do you have in your home? Blinds, curtains, shutters, etc.?
We have blinds throughout the house.

Main Course: Name something that instantly cheers you up. My dogs! When I come home at night and I see their happy faces looking out at me from our big bay window, the stress of the day seems to be lifted from my shoulders.

Dessert: How many times do you hit the snooze button on a typical morning? I hit the snooze button at least three times in the morning. I hate getting up LOL

Appetizer:
Do you consider yourself to be an optimist or a pessimist? I tend to sway between the two but I think I am mostly a pessimist. I try to be optimistic on the outside but inside I doubt it all!

Soup:
What is your favorite color of ink to write with? I like to write in red unless it is something important (like writing a check) then I use blue.

Salad:
How often do you get a manicure or pedicure? Do you do them yourself or go to a salon and pay for them? I have not had a manicure in many years and I need to get one soon. My nails look horrible. I have never had a pedicure and I am not comfortable with getting one…I hate my feet! I will go to a salon and get my nails done. If I do it myself I will screw it up.

Main Course:
Have you ever won anything online? If so, what was it? I have won things on Ebay before and I have won a $25.00 gift card on Pogo.com.

Dessert:
In which room in your house do you keep your home computer? I keep my computer in the living room near the television!

Appetizer: When you drink soda/pop/coke, do you prefer to drink it from the bottle, a can, or after pouring it into a cup? I prefer to drink my Pepsi from a bottle…it tastes better and I have less of a chance of spilling it.

Soup: What television show are you willing to stay up late to watch? I am willing to stay up late to watch Scrubs or CSI.

Salad: Name one person, place, or thing you think of as brilliant. I think the Great Smokey Mountains is a brilliantly beautiful place.

Main Course: Would you be willing to work 4 10-hour days instead of 5 8-hour days in order to save gas? I would much rather work four, 10 hours day…whether it saves gas or not.

Dessert: If you were a superhero, what would you call yourself? I would call my self Super Paranoid!

Friday Feast #191

Appetizer: What is the nearest big city to your home? Springfield is an hour away, St. Louis is two hours away and Kansas City is three hours away from where I currently live.

Soup: On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how well do you keep secrets? I rate myself at an between 9 and 10. I want people to be able to trust me so I don’t share their secrets and I don’t tell people my own secrets. I tend to keep my thoughts and feelings to myself.

Salad: Describe your hair (color, texture, length). I have dark brown hair with a little gray hair mixed in. It is a little longer than shoulder length and is very thick but soft.

Main Course: What kind of driver are you? Courteous? Aggressive? Slow? I am a somewhat courteous driver. It takes a lot for other drivers to piss me off to the point of being aggressive. I tend to drive rather fast on the interstate but not on city/town/country roads.

Dessert: When was the last time you had a really bad week? I have not really had a bad week in awhile. But I have at least one bad day during the week all the time…sometimes two or more day…but never an entire week.

Appetizer: When someone smiles at you, do you smile back? Yes, I smile back when someone smiles at me. Smiles put me in a good mood.

Soup: Describe the flooring in your home. Do you have carpet, hardwood, vinyl, a mix? The flooring in my house is mostly hardwood. The bathrooms are tile and the kitchen has linoleum.

Salad: Write a sentence with only 5 words, but all of the words have to start with the first letter of your first name. Shannon Sell Sexy Silk Sneakers.

Main Course: Do you know anyone whose life has been touched by adoption? Not that I can think of.

Dessert: Name 2 blue things. The blueberries in the muffin I will eat for breakfast and the color of my Pepsi can.

Appetizer: What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child?

As a child I loved watching the Smurfs, Bugs Bunny, Speed Buggy, Scooby Doo and Taz. I remember getting up early on Saturday mornings just so I could watch those cartoons and others…like She-ra, He-Man, Transformers and more.

Soup: Pretend you are about to get a new pet. Which animal would you pick, and what would you name it?

I would pick another dog and more than likely it will be female (I already have two). I love dogs! I usually don’t have a name picked out for my pets until I am holding them in my arms. I stare at them for a few minutes until a name for him or her pops in my head.

Salad: On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how much do you enjoy getting all dressed up for a special occasion?

I don’t enjoy getting all dressed up for special occasions unless it is something small with just my kids or my boyfriend. I don’t like crowds and I would rather stay home. I also have have a low self-esteem at times and never think I look good.

Main Course: What kind of music do you listen to while you drive?

I usually listen to the local radio station. They play 80’s, 90’s and now music. Plus they have a small morning talk show that I like listening to.

Dessert: When was the last time you bought a clock? And in which room did you put it?

The last clock I purchased was an alarm clock which in now in my bedroom. Yesterday I purchase a new battery for my watch. I didn’t wear my watch for like a week and I was feeling naked LOL
