Welcome to Ann’s Link Love In sponsored by the SuburbanGypsy.
Since this will be Ann’s very first meme, let’s get her going and good! Alright?

I have selected 5 bloggers (not including myself and our friend Ann) to tag and bestow a bit of linky love. I hope that you will similarly publish this post in your blog and pass that love forward. A bit of Free Love if you will.

Simply tag 5 other bloggers and just keep adding on to the list. (Do not edit, replace, or delete. Just keep on adding! With any luck, this will be one heck of a groovy list.)

It’s just that easy! What is in it for you? A little bit of fun, the joy of annoying your blogging buddies – AGAIN, new friends, potentially an increase in your blog traffic, Google Page Rank, and in your Technorati *wink*

Steve and I don’t really have one. My favorite song is “Angel Eyes” by the Jeff Healey Band and Steve likes it too. Does that count?

“What Hurts The Most” By Rascal Flatts

Friday Fun: Friendship Edition

Friday Fun: Friendship Edition

1. Are you still close to your childhood friends? How have those friendships changed? I am close to two of my childhood friends. We have all matured, have children, and live miles apart.

2. Do you think online friendships can be as close as IRL friends? Why or why not? I think online friendships can be close but not as close as those in “real life”. Online friends get to see a few sides of you but offline, in person friends see all sides of you. A best friend even know what you look like when you wake up in the morning or what you look like drunk!

3. A lot of people think that marital problems should stay private. While sometimes that might be true, I don’t think it is always so. Sometimes you just need to talk it out with a friend. What is your feeling on the subject?
I don’t think marital problems should stay private. Everyone one needs someone to talk to and that person cannot always be your spouse or significant other. You have to be able to vent out your frustrations.

4. Have you ever felt betrayed by a friend? Were you able to work through it or did it end the friendship?
I have been betrayed by a few friends and the friendship in all cases were over. I was not able to trust them again.

5. Do you have friends from days past that you wish were still in your life?
I cannot really think of any. The friends I have are still friends because I can trust them and they stand by me no matter what. Those that are no longer my friends are gone for a reason and probably need to stay gone.

Friday Fun and Blogging

Friday Fun: The Blog Edition

1. What different blog formats have you used (i.e. Blogger, LiveJournal, WordPress, your own HTML, etc.? Which did you like the best?
2. How did you get into blogging? How long have you had a blog?
3. Why do you blog?
4. Do you have theme blog (i.e. crafting, cooking, deployment, pregnancy, etc.) or is it all in one?
5. Do you let it all hang out on your blog, or do you keep it light?
6. What is your favorite thing about your blog? What has it given you?

I have used (and still use some), my own HTML – on my personal web site, Blogger, MySpace, MSN Live Spaces, LiveJournal, Vox, and a few others. I prefer Blogger and my personal web site blog over all the ones I have used. I started blogging for several reasons…to keep in touch with family and friends, to express my feelings, to keep my thoughts under contronl and most recetly to do Memes. And I continue to blog for those same reasons.

I do have a recipe themed blog but I don’t keep it updated very well. I will work on it someday. I try to keep my main blog light and it is mostly full of memes. I tend to keep my deepest, darkest secrets in print in a hard copy journal.

My favorite thing about all of my blogs is the people I have met! There is a whole big wide world full of people out there and I have only touched the tip of the iceburg (so to speak). My blog has given me friends and laughter…both which are hard for me in the “real world”.

2. You just won an all expenses paid trip to anywhere in the world. Do you go to Japan or to France? Why? (Locations courtesy once again from my helpful son!) I think I would go to France. It is suppose to be a romantic place so who knows what will happen!

3. You meet a stingy genie that will only grant one wish. Do you wish for more money or a better body? Why? I would wish for more money. I want to get out of debt and get my teeth fixed. Maybe even go back to school for my Master’s Degree.

4. You have $50 burning a hole in your pocket. Do you head to the book store or to a spa? What would you get?
I head to the book store! There are a few books I would like to purchases and I could always use a new puzzle book or two.

Friday Fun: School Is In Session

Friday Fun: Back to School Edition
Hosted by Kiki
http://multifacetedmama.com/FFun/index.php

Kiki stated…”My kids started school yesterday, and for the first time, I am without kids during the day!! :( So this week’s Friday Fun is all about school!”

1. School uniforms: Good thing or bad thing? Why?
It can be good or bad. For me it would be a bad thing because I like to wear baggy clothes to hide my body (fat) and uniforms are not usually baggy.

2. School supplies: Our school district operates under a limited budget and school supplies other than notebooks and paper tend to be common use, meaning the class shares what each child brings in. What is your feeling on providing for the class rather than just your child?
I don’t mind it but it doesn’t always seem fair. Not everyone is able to provide things to the classroom which causes those that can afford it to provide more. This causes cliche’s to form in the classroom. I think donations to the classrooms should be provided anonymously.

3. Favorite classes: Math or science? English or History? Band or chorus?
I choose Math, English and Band. I hated physical education classes!

4. Foreign languages: Did your school have a foreign language requirement? What languages did they offer? Did you take a language?
My high school offered Spanish but it was not a requirement. I did not take that class but I took it in college (which was a requirement).

5. Visiting the past: If you could go back to school, would you? Or is it better off in the past?!
I would not go back to school, at least not to elementary, junior high or high school. Those days are long gone and I prefer to leave them that way. However, I would love to go back to college and get my Master’s Degree.

D&D Characters: Neutral Good Human Druid (5th Level)

According to the quiz results….I Am A: Neutral Good Human Druid (5th Level)

Ability Scores:
Strength-10
Dexterity-12
Constitution-11
Intelligence-16
Wisdom-16
Charisma-15

Alignment:
Neutral Good A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, neutral good can be a dangerous alignment because it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Class:
Druids gain power not by ruling nature but by being at one with it. They hate the unnatural, including aberrations or undead, and destroy them where possible. Druids receive divine spells from nature, not the gods, and can gain an array of powers as they gain experience, including the ability to take the shapes of animals. The weapons and armor of a druid are restricted by their traditional oaths, not simply training. A druid’s Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that they can cast.
