1. “My hands are tied” is an English-language cliche that means “I’d like to do something about this unfortunate situation, but I don’t have the ability or authority.” In what current situation do you feel your hands are tied? Moving to Wisconsin. I can’t move there until I have a job.

2. Railroad ties are the evenly-spaced slats that lie perpendicular to train tracks and whose function is to hold the tracks in place and to distribute the weight of the train. Who are the railroad ties in your life?
My children and my brother.

3. What are your feelings about Thai food? I don’t like it that much. Too spicy for me.

5. A red tide is a proliferation (in ideal circumstances) of oceanic algae that often seem to discolor seawater and threaten other sea life. If the ocean is your life and the algae the harmful attitudes, thoughts, or moods that crowd out the good stuff, under what conditions in your life is red tide most likely to become a problem?
Hummm I think it would have to be very extreme to become a problem…like a spouse/boyfriend cheating. Or losing one of my children or my brother.

1. Under what conditions are you most likely to cause injury to yourself? Icy, snowy or wet conditions…I will fall LOL I have fallen off my front porch many times in those types of conditions.

3. When did you last eat something with coconut in it? Trail Mix, earlier this week.

4. Who’s getting on your nerves? A lot of people but I won’t say who…that will just piss me off more. I try not to think about them.

I cannot think of anyone. I really doubt that anyone from the past misses me.

1. When did someone last break something of yours? Does a broken heart count? That has happened a few times this year. Otherwise, the last thing someone broke of mine was the shower at home.

2. When did you last play hackysack, if ever? Many years ago, when my children were younger.

3. What was your most dramatic haircut like? I have never done anything dramatic to my hair. I stick to the same hair cut.

4. Hacking is basically breaking through the security that protects a computer or a website. What’s the closest you’ve come to doing something similar in real life? When I was a kid I stole a pack of gum from the local grocery store. My dad caught me and made me take it back.

5. In the world of stand-up comedy, a hack is a comic who steals jokes from other comics. Have you ever known a hack in your own field? Yes, several but I won’t mention names.

4. What’s an unusual animal that you know a little something about? None that I can think of.
5. Your high school probably had some kind of mascot or symbol, but based on your memories of it, what animal should REALLY have been the emblem? My high school mascot was/is a Panther. The way some people at that school acted the mascot should have been a weasel or a snake!
